Tom is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant who spent the first 15 years of his career with Ernst and Young as a tax and business advisor to entrepreneurs.  After his time at Ernst and Young, Tom went to work for one of his previous clients as a CFO in the communications industry, where he worked with multiple entities and multiple locations throughout the Midwest.

For the following 12 years, Tom was involved with acquisitions, sales and liquidations, structuring of entities and associations among multiple owners, and eventually, headed up operations in several entities.

In 2007, Tom became business partners with a colleague and they acquired a Central Iowa-based construction company.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Dana College.
