Professional Controllers of Iowa (PCI) Introduces a New Name and Adds Team Members
Des Moines, Iowa: Professional Controllers of Iowa, founded in 2004 by Luke Vogel, CPA, is proud to announce a new name – CustomOne CFO & Controllers.
“I started PCI with the belief that smaller companies could benefit from having a team of accounting and financial professionals driving their business rather than just one controller”, explains Luke Vogel. “I believe much of our success today is attributed to this fundamental strategy. As we have grown our staff and services, we felt a new name and branding strategy was key to communicating the value of our services to our audience”.
CustomOne CFO & Controllers utilizes a very custom yet turnkey approach to accounting and financial needs. Because of the diversity of their staff, they are able to provide companies with a high level, professional accounting team that is allocated based on each clients need.
In addition, CustomOne CFO has named Doug Strawn and Curt Lack as CFO’s to the company. Doug is a CPA with 27 years of diverse experience in public and private accounting. He spent 8 years in public accounting mainly at Ernst & Young performing audit and tax functions and also served as President of a national photography company. Doug holds a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Northwest Missouri State University.
Curt Lack, also a CPA, has 30 years of experience and spent 10 years of his career with KPMG LLP. He has served as CFO for Meredith/Burda Corporation, CE Software, Inc. and Mid-America Recycling Company. Curt has a Bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University and continues to maintain his Iowa CPA and Iowa Real Estate licenses.
“Welcoming Doug and Curt to our team as CFO’s, brings great opportunity to our clients and CustomOne CFO. Their experience will help guide our clients through these economic times as well as bring a wealth of knowledge to our team”, added Luke Vogel.
